60 VS. 90 MINUTES:
CHOOSING THE RIGHT
SESSION

By Rodrigo Martins — Elite Recovery Specialist, Rodrigo Method NYC

Rodrigo Method NYC offers two single-session formats: the 60-minute Tune-Up and the 90-minute Full Reset. Both follow the same five-step protocol and deliver the full myofascial flushing, breathwork, and stretching experience. The difference is in how much time is available for each part of the session.

The 60-Minute Tune-Up

The Tune-Up is a 60-minute session that focuses on targeted areas — legs, hips, back, shoulders — based on the intake at the start of the session. It is designed for:

  • Recurring clients who already know the protocol and have specific maintenance goals
  • Pre-event preparation — the day before a race, competition, or major training block
  • In-between sessions for clients who subscribe and want additional targeted work

Because the time is more constrained, the Tune-Up is most effective when focused on two or three specific areas rather than full-body coverage.

The 90-Minute Full Reset

The Full Reset is a 90-minute session designed for full-body coverage. It is the recommended starting point for first-time clients and for anyone who has not had a session in several weeks. It is also well-suited for:

  • Post-event recovery — after a race, competition, or intense training block
  • New clients who want to experience the full protocol before committing to a format
  • High-accumulation periods — when you are carrying load across multiple areas

The additional 30 minutes allows for more time per area — which typically means deeper work and more thorough coverage of the full body.

Which one should you book?

If this is your first session: book the Full Reset (90 min). This gives you the best opportunity to experience the complete protocol and understand how your body responds.

If you are a recurring client with specific targets: the Tune-Up (60 min) is often the more efficient choice, especially if you are booking between training sessions or preparing for an event.

If you are not sure: the Full Reset is the safe default. You can always move to 60-minute sessions after establishing a routine.

Monthly subscribers (The Committed and The Elite) choose their session format at subscription — and can discuss adjustments with Rodrigo directly.
